“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

~ John 15:5

Hello! Welcome to Goodstrong Words.

I am a young writer who has been writing stories for as long as I can remember. For the past three years, I have been sharing my novels, poetry, and anything of the like with a collaborative of writers called ‘The Fellowship of the Pen’. Through our online forum created by our mentor, J.R. (The Habit.co), I commune with writers from around the world who write every genre of beautiful stories/poetry.

Across continents and cultures, we have many different preferences but we all agree that our reading friends play an invaluable role in our work.

That is why I started this blog!

Our writing is not just for us

Writing is for readers and it needs to be shared — whether it is stories, essays, poetry, or any other form, it cannot to its job if it does not convey meaning to other people.

Good, strong words.

If you are on this page, you are probably one of my friends that I have sent to this site. I want you to have a chance to view the stories I am (and any contributors are) writing as I post them.

Writer-on-writer conversations are important — but readers are the ones who give our work meaning!

Writing is not an introverted endeavor — if it becomes one it is only the greatest scenario of trapping someone within their own world. Writing is for readers and it needs to be shared. Whether it is stories, essays, poetry, or any other form, it cannot do its job if it does not actually convey its meaning to other people. Writing for ourselves is called learning. But there is a point where it must take flight beyond that. Mere shouts in the desert never have an effect on anyone but the one who cries out. I never want to do this just for myself. It was never meant to be that way.
